Painted en plein air at Bastion Point, Mallacoota. The inlet changes every year, and last year, it changed and swept away most of the surf beach at Bastion Point. This summer, some of the sand had returned, making a curving entrance along the cliffs towards the entrance. The sky was moody with an approaching storm, so I had to paint this quickly!
