Jordan Stanfield is a queer Naarm/Melbourne based emerging interdisciplinary artist. Across their structured education within visual art studies and independent experimentation displayed within accumulated exhibitions, Stanfield has solidified their artistic style and intention behind her repertoire. Stanfield has engaged with various forms of inventive expression - commonly using the symbol of stars to represent humanity and explosive emotion. Their depictions of ‘burning, effervescent souls; stars uncontainable and bursting with life’ (Ned Giddings, 2025) are a staple of their collection of works.

Stanfield produces works with intent, assertion and passion: narratives of community, reflection, perception and ephemerality are key themes throughout their collection. The consideration towards transient existence is crucial to her workflow, and permits an environment to converge creative disciplines.

'STARDANCERS' is a reflection on finding community and acceptance after hiding amongst the dark for so long. The ability to shine bright around others just like you, to experience the lack of judgement, perception and masking is so powerful and passionate, it evokes pure brightness and unyielding gratitude in finding yourself.
