Quiet Hours, Ksenia Shinkarenko

On view 10 March - 4 April

Nightingale Gallery is delighted to announce Quiet Hours, the first solo exhibition with the gallery by Melbourne-based contemporary artist Ksenia Shinkarenko.

We warmly invite you to celebrate the exhibition with us on Thursday 12 March, 6–8pm.

Working with natural textiles, plant-based dyes and layered compositions, Ksenia creates surfaces that feel grounding and imbued with warmth. Each piece is built in thin layers using natural dyes, where depth and tonal transitions unfold gradually over time.

“This body of work explores subtle shifts of light and the contemplative presence it carries in the softer hours of the day. The compositions remain minimal, allowing attention to rest on tone and presence.”
